Default Most Back line Profession

What owuld everyone say is the most backline profession? My guess is probably a battery necro as they die really easily because they have to keep on sacrificing health or a monk because they heal everyone and can bring everyone back if they are the last one standing.

Not a useful question, but you have the right idea.

Generally, "backline" means a character that will only be interacting with other members of your team. Like you said, monks and BiP necros are examples of a backline character.

"Midline" refers to those who interact with both teammates and enemies, or who interact only with enemies but can do so from range. This usually includes mesmers, elementalists, offensive necros, some rangers and paragons. You get the idea.

"Frontline" is pretty obvious--teammates who frequently wade into enemy lines and act as the vanguard for the team. Warriors and dervishes are the obvious examples here.

Hope that helps a little.

Thanks for responding its useful because it helps to knwo how close ot the enemy you should be with what class as if oyu are in the wrong place you will most likely die too often or oyur party will keep on failing the mission or having to go to the last respawn point. As soemtimes when I stay in one area I am fien untill I decide ot see waht its liek in another area. I know its not the most useful question but every bit of advantage you can get helps.

not a really useful question, but i would say
1. orders necros stay very far away
2. bips also stay quite a ways back
3. spirit spammers really dont need to be anywhere near the team.

Orders would probably be the farthest backline characters, seeing as they tend to stay at max Soul Reaping range, or about half the radar range- much futher than any character limited by casting range. Pure defensive spirit spammers can also hang out at half-radar range, but I prefer at least a few offensive spirits such as Pain and Shadowsong (especially Shadowsong), which means you have to be closer to the fight.
